Kathmandu, Nov 3: Nepal received 132,814 foreign tourists in October 2026, according to the Nepal Tourism Board.
The figure represents an increase of around 4,000 visitors compared with October last year.
According to the board, the United States accounted for the largest number of arrivals, with 17,437 American tourists visiting Nepal. In October last year, 13,286 visitors came from the US.
India ranked second, with 12,097 arrivals in October 2026, down from 17,298 in the same month last year.
China ranked third, sending 11,695 tourists to Nepal during the month.
The United Kingdom ranked fourth among countries of origin.
