Machhapuchchhre Bank provides Rs. 20.1 M to DRF

Kathmandu, September 1: Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited has provided financial assistance of Rs. 20.1 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for citizens and communities affected by the devastating floods and landslides in the Bhotekoshi River area of Rasuwa district.

The assistance was handed over by the bank’s Chairman, Roshan K.C., to Finance Minister, Swarnim Wagle. The bank provided the support as the floods and landslides caused significant damage to the lives, homes, and properties of affected citizens.

Immediately following the devastating disaster, the bank had already provided essential relief materials, including food, blankets, bedding, and other daily necessities, to the affected communities.
