Yadab Giri highlighted that education should empower individuals and society, contributing to economic growth. In underdeveloped countries like Nepal, the focus is often on personality development and cultural awareness, with less emphasis on economic advancement. While there are some market-oriented skills offered at higher levels, the education system largely prepares students for academic pursuits rather than productive labor market roles, perpetuating a cycle where graduates primarily teach subjects rather than gain practical skills beneficial to the economy.
