Kathmandu, September 29: During the meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel and Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang at the Great Hall in Beijing, Paudel extended thanks to the Chinese government for its continuous support in Nepal’s development and urged for more assistance in the areas of physical infrastructure, economic prosperity and human development in accordance with Nepal’s needs and characteristics.
Poudel expressed the view that Nepal should also benefit from China’s prosperity in the economy, including infrastructure development and poverty alleviation.
Chinese Vice-Premier Ding Xuexiang praised Nepal’s achievements in the political sphere and wished for Nepal’s progress in economic development.
He expressed commitment to continuous support from China in the development of Nepal.
Poudel returned home today after completing his China visit.
