
Kathmandu, July 12: Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal is facing a vote of confidence today from the House of Representatives (HoR).
Speaker Devraj Ghimire has already arranged for voting in Parliament today.
Within one and a half years, PM Dahal is facing the confidence motion for the fifth time, however, this time, it seems, he is not as fortunate as in the past.
Nepali Congress, UML, RPP, Janata Samajbadi Party led by Ashok Rai and Janamat Party led by CK Raut have also decided to vote against the confidence motion.
Meanwhile, the Nepali Congress and UML have decided to claim for the formation of a new coalition government through a fast track today.
There is the possibility of the appointment of K.P. Sharma Oli as the new PM by President Ramchandra Paudel under Article 76 (2) by this afternoon.
