Kathmandu, July 12: President Ramchandra Paudal has received a letter from the House of Representatives about Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal’s failure to show a confidence motion.
Moreover, PM Dahal called on the President and described the latest political development.
Following the Speaker’s letter, the President may call the political parties to claim for the formation of the government under Article 76 (2) of the constitution.
Considering the President’s call, the new alliance, Nepali Congress and UML are preparing to claim for the formation of the government.
For evidence, the two parties, showing a majority for the formation of the government, are preparing to produce signatures of the MPs in favor of the NC-UML coalition government.
Both NC and UML have decided to support UML chair K.P. Sharma Oli to the post of the PM.
