Kathmandu, July 7: Former King Gyanendra Shah’s 78th birthday is being observed today by organizing different programs.
The Civic Reception Committee chaired by Bam Bahadur Sambahamphe is organizing different programs today on the occasion of the King’s birthday.
According to Radhyeshyam Thapa, general secretary of the Birthday Organizing Committee, week-long programs are being organised nationwide on the occasion of the King’s birthday.
As the King is presently out of Nirmal Niwas, there is no birthday program there, according to a Nirmal Niwas source.
King Gyanendra was born on July 7, 1947.
On the auspicious occasion of the King’s birthday, the People’s Review family extends hearty birthday greetings to him.
