Congress-UML alliance just a gimmick: JN Khanal

Jhalnath Khanal, a senior leader of the Ekikrit Samajwadi Party (ESP) has commented that the Congress-UML alliance is making nonsense talk of national consensus.

After the central committee meeting on Sunday, Khanal told media persons at the party office in Aloknagar that there is nothing but nonsense about the government of national consensus. He said that the NC and UML will form the government and some other parties, to save their existence, will support the government.

Khanal commented that in the parliamentary system, the government is usually formed by the one who gets the majority, but it is like a gimmick in the parliamentary system to form a government with the two main parties of any country. He explained that there is no scope to participate in the new alliance. He claimed that the country is going through instability due to the incompetence and incompetence of the leaders of the big parties.
