Silwal’s book about the USA unveiled

Kathmandu, July 6: Sanubabu Silwal’s book, “Sapana Ra Yatharthama America” (America, A Dream and Reality) was released at a function in Kathmandu Friday evening, July 5.
Former chairman of the cabinet of ministers and former chief justice of the Supreme Court, Khilaraj Regmi unveiled the book authored by Silwal, a non-resident Nepali in the USA.
Regmi, while unveiling the book, cited the success achieved by Silwal saying that honesty, honest efforts and character based on honesty will make an individual successful and Silwal is one among them who is always worried about his motherland and Nepali people.
Regmi said that those Nepalis abroad have a great love for their motherland, which is reflected in the writing of Silwal.
On the occasion, Silwal, now an established businessman in the USA, informed that around five hundred Nepalis are staying in the USA and he is guiding them for their economic prosperity. Moreover, he is helping those Nepalis who face problems.
From the title of the book, “America, Dreams and Reality” we can understand that the USA is not like that as we have imagined. Silwal’s book can be a handbook for those who are preparing to go to the USA.
Addressing the program, different personalities including senior journalists opined that America is not like what we have imagined.
The book with 283 pages gives an introduction of the USA, the situation of the Nepali Diaspora, suggestions for adopting the American livelihood, opportunities, financial management, taxation, laws, road security and regulations about the USA and the interrelation of those Nepalis with Nepal.
The book published by Geeta Silwal is priced at Rs. 500.
