Prateek Thapa presented at public prosecutor’s office in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, July 1: Prateek Thapa, son of former home minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, who was arrested by the Nepal Police in the fake Bhutanese refugee case, has been presented at the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kathmandu.

Prateek, who was arrested from Buddh on Friday, was taken to the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kathmandu by the police on Sunday. He was then presented at the district court in Kathmandu.

His hearing will be held on Monday. Last year, the public prosecutor’s office in Kathmandu filed a case against Prateek on the fugitive list for the crime of sending Nepali people as fake Bhutanese refugees to America.
