Kathmandu, May 28: The Armed Police Force of Nepal has established a Border Out Post (BOP) at Samdo located in Chumanubri Rural Municipality-1 of Gorkha district in the Nepal-China border.
With the establishment of the BOP in Samdo on Sunday, the number of BOP on the Nepal-China border has reached 10. APF Nepal No. 29 Post is located about 164 km north of Gorkha Bazar.
It is said that the BOP established in the border areas of Nepal and China will deal with natural disasters such as snowfall, rescue citizens caught in avalanches, control illegal smuggling, and reduce criminal and unwanted activities in the border areas, regular border posts and surveillance of border areas.
