Kathmandu, May 26: Photo journalist and expeditor Purnima Shrestha has climbed Mt Sagarmatha (Everest) for the third time in a single season establishing a new record.
Shrestha reached atop Mt Sagarmatha at 5.50 am Sunday morning for the third time this season.
This is the fourth time Shrestha climbed Mt Sagarmatha. In this season, she reached Mt Sagarmatha summit for the third time within 13 days.
Shrestha, a lady from Arughat, Gorkha, has already climbed dozens of Himalayan summits across the world.
