No progress on PM Dahal’s talk with Deuba

Kathmandu, May 26: Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal had called a meeting of the supreme leaders of the political parties at his official residence in Baluatar to end the House obstruction. However, Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba refused to go to Baluatar and asked PM Dahal to visit his residence in Budhanilkantha. PM Dahal went to Budhanilkantha but UML chair K.P. Sharma Oli didn’t go there.

At the meeting between PM Dahal and Deuba, Dahal proposed constituting a parliamentary probe committee excluding the name of DPM and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane. When Deuba refused PM Dahal’s proposal, talks ended without a conclusion.
