
Kathmandu, May 23: Nepali mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa scaled Mount Sagarmatha (Everest) for the 30th time Wednesday, his second climb within ten days, establishing a new record and breaking the old record established by himself.
Sherpa reached the 29,032-foot summit at 7:49 a.m. Wednesday, Khim Lal Gautam, a government official at the base camp, informed.
On May 12, he scaled Mount Sagarmatha for the 29th time.
