Kathmandu, May 19: Following the decision of the opposition parties, the Nepali Congress allowed DPM and Home Minister Labi Lamichhane to address the House meeting this evening. However, immediately after the address by Minister Lamichhane, the NC obstructed the House meeting and Speaker Devraj Ghimire had to adjourn the House until tomorrow, May 20.
Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal is planning to face a vote of confidence tomorrow. May 20.
Minister Lamichhane, during his address to the House, said that he was not involved in taking loans from cooperatives.
Lamichhane also questioned whether the significance of the NC requesting him to become the PM for one and a half years has been over or not.
Lamichhane also questioned whether the NC is ready to form a parliamentary committee to investigate on manipulation of funds by Gagan Thapa in the goat farming scam!
