Kathmandu, May 11: Ten Sherpas were able to climb Mount Sagarmatha (Everest) Friday at 8.15 am.
This is the first climb of Mt Sagarmatha, the world’s tallest summit, in this spring season.
Khimlal Gautam, chief, of the temporary field office of the Tourism Department, informed it.
This team has also opened the trekking route to the Sagarmatha summit, informed the Seven Summit Trek.
Dendi Sherpa, Tenjing Gyalche Sherpa, Namgel Dorji Sherpa, Sukbahadur Tamang, Dawa Rinje Sherpa, Dawa Sherpa, Rinji Sherpa, Pemba Tashi Sherpa, Pamdorje Sherpa and Lakpa Sherpa have scaled the Sagarmatha summit.
