Kathmandu, May 9: Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal (JSP-N) led by Upendra Yadav has split again. Less than a week after the formation of a new party under the leadership of Ashok Rai, political committee member Khagendra Makhim also separated his faction from JSPN.
Federal Limbuwan Party led by Makhim merged with the JSPN in 2074.
Along with him, members of the political and central committee held a press conference on Thursday. An identity-based political front has been formed under the leadership of Mahendra Lavati
They accused the party’s main leadership of engaging in the power play, adopting undemocratic behavior, and not being active in the identity movement.
Makhim said that the division of the party was a suicidal step, the JSP and JSP Nepal could not remain together.
The Front has called upon all the identity-based parties, organizations and activists in different groups to strengthen the issue of identity and move forward unitedly.
