
Kathmandu, April 26: Border security personnel from Nepal and China have patrolled on foot the Korala border Between Nepal and China. According to Nepal Police, the police of both countries conducted a foot patrol on Wednesday, April 24, to control and reduce crime in the border area.
The joint patrolling was conducted in an approximate two-kilometre border area from pillar number 24 in the east to pillar number 23 in the west at Korala.
According to the Nepal Police, eight policemen from the Mustang area police office in Lomanthang and eight security personnel from the Liji Police Office of China located on the Nepal-China border conducted a joint patrol. It is believed that this type of action can facilitate the control of border crimes in the border area.
