Kathmandu, April 21: Qatar’s Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, April 21, for a two-day formal visit to Nepal.
During the visit of the Amir, several agreements and Memorandum of Understandings are expected to be inked, said the Foreign Ministry sources.
During the visit, the Qatari Amir will hold discussions with Nepali leaders aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing various issues of mutual interest, according to the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Kathmandu.
Nepal had extended an invitation to the Qatar Amir for an official visit to Nepal during the then President Bidya Devi Bhandari to Qatar.
