Kathmandu, April 21: UML chairman K.P. Sharma Oli has presented a political report at the National Convention Representatives’ Council that taking place in Godawari from Saturday, April 20.
Oli, in his political document, has refused the concept of a constitution of the Left front, rather, has said that alliance, cooperation, and merger can be possible only after co-journey and entra-party cooperation.
Oli said that earlier, the alliance group had taken the attitude of rejection against the UML and attempted to corner the party from all sides, which does not exist now.
Oli’s above remark gives the impression that Delhi has now changed its attitude towards the UML.
Oli remarked that the emergence of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) cannot challenge the existing political parties.
Oli has also opined that the pro-monarchy political party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is a rightst and reactionary force and denied any possibility of the restoration of the institution of monarchy.
Oli didn’t miss to claim that his party, UML, is the only patriotic party.
Different groups have been formed to discuss Oli’s paper. The UML assembly is going to conclude on Monday, April 22.
