Rajendra Lingden questions, what Madhesh achieved from federalism

Kathmandu, March 18: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) chairman Rajendra Lingden has asked the Tarai people what they achieved after the nation adopted federalism!

Lingden said that the nation got an enormous number of ministers, but except for that, the nation achieved nothing.  Lingden, who is making a move to create awareness about the 40-point memorandum presented by the RPP, said that the general public got nothing from the present political system. Addressing a general assembly at Barahawatha in Sarlahi district, Lingden said that many political leaders got the opportunity to become ministers, but the living standard of the Tarai people has not improved. Lingden said that someone had suggested not speaking against federalism during the assemblies in the Tarai districts, however, Lingden said that he wanted to ask a question to the Tarai people: what did they get from federalism?
