Kathmandu, March 1: A jumbo team of 68 members is scheduled to visit the US under the leadership of Minister for Women Surendraraj Acharya. The jumbo government team is scheduled to visit the US to participate in the event to be held on March 8.
The team will be accompanied by Ministry Secretary Sumanraj Aryal and representatives of UN organizations and ECOSOC-recognized non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from all regions of the world. The 68th Women’s Conference is an international women’s event being held in the United States with the slogan “Investment in women, speed of progress”. In Nepal, the slogan of investing in women, and starting a better society has been made.
All agencies of the federal government, provincial governments, district coordination committee federations, Nepal Municipality Association, National Rural Municipality Federation, 77 district coordination committees, 753 local levels and three wards, educational institutions, social organizations, and civil society have been instructed to celebrate the day in a grand manner. However, the high-ranking leadership of the ministry is going to America.
