Kathmandu, February 25: Indo-Pacific Commander of the US Army, Admiral John C. Aquilino, USN, has arrived in Kathmandu to inspect the fourth series of the Multinational Peace Initiative Military Exercise that is taking place in Panchkhal.
The Indo Pacific Commander is going to visit Panchkhal today (February 25), according to reports.
One thousand one hundred army personnel from different 19 countries are participating in the multinational military exercise in Panchkhal.
The military exercise is being organized by Nepal and the USA jointly.
The US army officer is paying courtesy calls on President Ramchandra Paudel, Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal, DPM and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka and Chief of Army Staff General Prabhuram Sharma during his stay in Kathmandu.
He arrived in Kathmandu after visiting India.
