Monkey problem

BABBLES

By Babbler

A group of MPs is visiting India to study Indian technology and how the monkey problems in farmhouses have been managed.

Arju Rana, chairman of a committee related to agriculture in Parliament, said that she had written a letter to the Indian Embassy to address the monkey problem faced by our farmers.

Our neighbors are studying the lunar and solar systems, and we have just started a study on the monkey problem and seeking India’s help to address the problem.

Maybe, the monkey is an excuse but MPs are eager to pay a Darshan to their Indian bosses.

Not to forget, since the 1990 political change, Delhi has become the supper capital of Nepal.

Non-news is big news in “new” Nepal

This is the era that Nepalis are living in, it is very interesting. The mainstream media reports that around 1.2 million people are waiting for their driving licenses. The concerned department was unable to print the smart driving license due to the scarcity of cards. Why did the concerned authorities not procure the license cards timely?

If the Nepal Airlines aircraft is grounded due to a technical snag, it becomes front-page news.

When a social worker constructs a settlement for scheduled class families and the deposed king visits the families, that event is blacked out by the media.

After all, this is a “new” Nepal!

“New” Nepal of looters and thugs

There were days when the corrupt people were treated as an untouchable class in the country. Today, those, who have established the record in corruption and commission, are the top-ranking leaders. The difference that we have experienced in the “old” Nepal and the present “new” Nepal is the attitude of the nation towards corruption and commission.

QUOTES OF THE WEEK

How the government’s security team manages the PM’s foreign visit schedule is not understandable.

Sometimes, the aircraft carrying the PM flies earlier than the scheduled time, leaving passengers at the airport, and every time the PM flies, the air traffic will be on hold for hours in the name of the PM’s safety!

Is there no meaning for the financial as well as the loss of time of the general public?

Nepal’s leftist political leaders studied revolution, system change, and gaining state power. They eventually came to power. After coming to power, they were confused as they forgot to read about what needed to be done to transform the country.

Leadership is losing their dignity as all the parties have maintained silence on the candidature of those having immoral and criminal activities in the National Assembly elections. It is an insult to public opinion and an abuse of the constitution to allow those people to the National Assembly.

What issues are troubling us the most in the country today? This country, which was never dependent on history, is losing its independence! We have adopted the principle of surrenderism instead of establishing equidistance relations with our neighbors.

Manisha Koirala

If the provincial governments are allowed to recruit their own security, it will be a blunder as our neighbor is carrying the fund of 200 million rupees with the plan of splitting the entire tarai districts.

Prachanda, Deuba and KP are already fallen under the shoes of the neighbor.

What could be the intention for the ‘combo package’ deal on the operation of international airports?

It has become the fate of Nepal’s state system to make hasty decisions and regret at leisure.

Do not go to PPP on an ad hoc basis. Let there be an in-depth study on the investment, development and management of Nepal’s air infrastructure first!

The democrats criticize (King) Mahendra for ending democracy. Those pro-Indians hate (King) Mahendra for being a nationalist. (King) Mahendra’s contribution has been evaluated in the past. The present is doing it and the future will do it too!

Kamal Koirala

King Mahendra didn’t end democracy but ended anarchism that was introduced in the name of democracy. We have been watching similar anarchism since 1990.
