Kathmandu, August 23: The proposed China visit of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has been postponed.
According to reports, Lamichhane’s visit to China has been postponed for the time being. The visit, which was initially scheduled for the second week of August, was later pushed back by a month and rescheduled for the second week of September. However, the source said that Lamichhane’s China visit will not take place in September either.
Now, only a delegation of RSP lawmakers is preparing to visit China, according to sources. A new date for the visit has not yet been fixed.
Lamichhane had earlier been preparing to visit China following his visit to India. However, as the schedule for the trip was repeatedly changed in recent times, his China visit has ultimately been postponed.
