Deputy Prime Minister and Defense and Foreign Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the UML is “very conscious” of its “self-respect” and that, as such, “no matter how powerful an individual or country may be,” the UML would “never know-tow to them.”
The deputy prime minister made that observation in an interview with the Review on June 5 while responding to a question concerning his reported cutting and distribution of a cake at a recent dinner celebration for the wedding anniversary of Indian ambassador K.V. Rajan.
