UML government ignores Chinese sovereignty

While the UML government has become increasingly conscious and conducive to Indian interests, it’s dealings with Nepal’s northern neighbor China, has been negligent, specially regarding its policy towards the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China.

Although the UML government has, from time to time, reiterated that Tibet is an integral part of China, its ministers and media have often been found violating its declared policy of respecting China’s territorial integrity.

Recently, for example, the official media has been publishing news items/advertisements that are against both the declared policy on Tibet and are tantamount to interfering in the domestic affairs of China.
