Kathmandu, 7 April: The election code of conduct has become active from today, 7 April.
However, the election code of conduct will affect only three districts where by-lections are going to take place on 23 April. By-elections are taking place in Chitwan, Bara and Tanahun districts. The election code of conduct will remain effective until voting for 23 April by-elections.
A total of 62 candidates are in the election race in three electoral constituencies.
