Kathmandu, 7 April: Chiribabu Maharjan, mayor of the Lalitpur Metropolis Corporation, has been named chair of the Valley Mayors’ Forum.
Basudev Thapa is named vice chair; Ghanashyam Giri is the general secretary and Prakash Adhikari is the secretary in the Forum. Krishna Hari Maharjan is the treasurer and Surendra Shrestha is the co-secretary in the Forum.
The Forum is comprised of mayors and deputy mayors of the metropolis and municipalities in the Kathmandu Valley.
