Kathmandu, 6 April: Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s chief whip Gyanendra Shahi said that the nation cannot function provinces by borrowing loans from foreign countries.
Addressing the House of Representatives today, Shahi said that provinces have become the venue for recruiting party workers and the provincial governments have failed to justify their significance.
In the past five years, the nation spent 160 billion rupees on the provinces. Hundreds of thousands of people could get employment from that amount, said Shahi.
