
Kathmandu, 30 March: The Government is set to hand over two Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) projects to India. Out of the nine projects included in BRI , two hydro-power projects are being handed over to Indian companies.
During Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s visit to India next month, an agreement will be signed relating to bring in Indian investment in the Phukot Karnali and Tamor hydropower projects, reports nepalkhabar.com.
Those two projects were placed under BRI in the agreement signed between Nepal and China by the then CPN government during the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Nepal four years ago.
