Kathmandu, 26 March: President Ramchandra Paudel has returned to Kathmandu after offering a special pooja at the Gorakhkali Temple and visiting the Gorkha Durwar Museum.
Paudel also offered garland at the statue of King Prithvi Narayan Shah the Great, founder of modern Nepal.
Addressing a gathering at the Gorkha Durwar Museum, Paudel said that commoners should not get into trouble during the VVIP movements. He also suggested calling “transportation” (aawagaman) instead of “sawari” for such VVIP movements.
“People’s representatives should not think about giving trouble to commoners,” Paudel said.
Paudel said that he would make efforts for developing Gorkha as a tourist destination.
