
Kathmandu, 25 March: Two ministers of Gandaki Province government have tendered resignation on Friday. Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, Hari Bahadur Chuman, and Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment, Resham Jugjali, tendered their resignation before Chief Minister Khaga Raj Adhikari. Both of them are from the CPN (Maoist Centre).
Earlier, a meeting of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Parliamentary Party had decided to withdraw its support to Adhikari-led government. After the withdrawal of support to the government, the CPN (UML)-led Gandaki Province government is in minority. As per the constitutional provision, the Chief Minister has to take vote of confidence within 30 days
