Kathmandu, 24 March: Nine senior officials including IGP Dhiraj Pratap Singh in the Nepal Police are going to get retirement on 25 March.
The Nepal Police headquarters is going to organize a farewell programme at 4 pm today.
Other senior officials getting retirement are AIGs Sahakul Bahadur Thapa, Uttamraj Subedi and Diwes Lohani. Similarly, DIGs Nalaprasad Upadhaya, Mohan Kumar Acharya and Masaud Aalam Khan are getting retirement by 25 March.
They are going to get retirement under the provision of compulsory retirement after completing 30 years of service.
The cabinet of the minister taking place today is expected to promote one among the newly promoted five IGPs.
