Kathmandu, 20 March: Newly elected Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav has taken the oath of office and secrecy amidst a ceremony at Sittal Niwas today.
President Ramchandra Paudel administered oath and secrecy to Yadav. After the oath-taking ceremony, outgoing VP Nanda Bahadur Pun was given an official farewell.
High-ranking officials, bureaucrats and security officials and representatives from diplomatic missions in Kathmandu were present on the occasion.
