Kathmandu, 20 March: The Election Commission has elected Manju Sharma as the member of the House of Representatives in the vacant post from the Janata Samajwadi Party.
An assistant spokesperson from the Commission, Suryaprasad Subedi has stated in a statement.
After the death of the JSP MP from the proportional election, Sahanaj Rahman, the post had remained vacant.
