Kathmandu, 20 March: As the Transportation Management Department has failed to print the license card, eight hundred thousand people are waiting for their driving license for more than one year.
According to the Department, there is only one printing machine having the capacity of printing only four thousand five hundred copies of license, whereas, the license demand per day is eight thousand pieces.
Due to the lack of a license, people are compelled to drive their vehicles just by showing the cash payment receipt against the license.
The Department is unable to install big machines to print license cards in large quantities.
