Kathmandu, 14 March: China has included Nepal in the list of outbound destinations for its citizens in the second batch of countries for outbound travel released recently.
Nepal is among the 40 countries in the list of outbound destinations for its citizens released by China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Nepal is the third South Asian country to be included in outbound destinations for Chinese tourists.
Taking to the Twitter, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song has said, “Starting from March 15, 2023, the resumption of outbound group tours for Chinese citizens to Nepal will be conducted by travel agencies and online tourism enterprises. More and more Chinese tourists will visit Nepal, and enjoy the magnificent scenery and unique culture of Nepal.”
