Kathmandu, 13 March: Newly elected President Ramchandra Paudel took the oath of office and secrecy of the post amidst a special function at Sheetal Niwas.
Acting Chief Justice Harikrishna Karki administered the oath of office and secrecy for the President.
Meanwhile, President Bidya Devi Bhandari, after handing over the charge, left the Sheetal Niwas this afternoon.
Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal presented a souvenir to the outgoing President on behalf of the government. President Paudel had seen off to Bhandari by reaching up to the Bhandari’s car.
