Kathmandu, 12 March: President Bidya Devi Bhandari is completing her five-year tenure today. She was elected President of Nepal on 29 Falgun 2074 BS.
Ramchandra Paudel has already been elected the President. He is seeking an auspicious time to take the oath of office as the new President. Paudel has decided to take the oath of office and assume office on Monday, 13 March.
Outgoing President Bhandari is planning to shift her private residence in Budhanilkantha on Monday after handing over the charge to Paudel.
Bhandari spent eight years in the Sittal Niwas as President.
