Free health camp at Panchkhal

Kathmandu, 12 March: Pakistani Embassy, in collaboration with the Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association, conducted a free health camp at Panchkhal in Kavre District coinciding with the occasion of 17th Nepal-Pakistan Friendship Day.

The health camp was organised at the Bhavisya Ujwal Primary School in the Panchkhaal Municipality of Kavre. The camp was inaugurated by Suryamayan Danuwar, head of Kavre Panchkhal municipality. He said that the camp has brought relief to rural areas where health services are not accessible.

He also praised the support given by the government of Pakistan in the field of health, education and children in the rural areas of Nepal. 

Charge d’affaires (AI) Amir Ali said that the health camp will make the relationship between the people of the two countries permanent and wished the camp success.

Women, senior citizens and children from rural areas underwent health checks. The Embassy also distributed medicines free of cost to needy persons.
