Complaint filed against Vice- President candidate Ramsahay Yadav

Kathmandu, 11 March: The CPN-UML has filed a complaint saying that the candidacy of Janata Samajwadi Party leader Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, who has registered his candidacy for the Vice- President, is against the constitution and the law.

Mahesh Bertaula, a representative of Ashtalakshmi Shakya (Bohra)  has  registered a complaint against Yadav at the Election Officer’s office in Naya Baneshwar. The CPN-UML filed a complaint against  Yadav stating that since a gentleman has been elected as the President, the Vice President should not be a gentleman. Also, UML has  claimed that Yadav’s candidacy was against the law.
