Kathmandu, 10 March: Five Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG)s of Nepal Police have been recommended for promotion to Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP).
A meeting of the promotion committee under the Home Ministry on Friday recommended the promotion of DIGs Basant Bahadur Kunwar, Tek Prasad Rai, Deepak Thapa, Shyamalal Gyawali and Kiran Bajracharya to the post of AIG, according to reports.
