Kathmandu, 10 March: The Election Commission has decided to conduct the election for the Vice President on 17 March.
The Commission has set Saturday from 9 to 2 pm, 11 March for candidature registration.
The Commission will be publishing the final list of the candidates on 12 March and holding the election on 17 March.
As the election code of conduct remains effective until the election of the VP, Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal has decided to face a vote of confidence and also expand his cabinet only after the election of the VP.
