Kathmandu, 9 March: In the presidential election, 32 lawmakers from the province remained absent.
According to the Election Office, only 518 lawmakers participated in the voting out of a total of 550 lawmakers from the Provincial Assembly.
Likewise, 313 out of 334 parliamentarians from the federal parliament took part in the voting process.
Former Speakers Ramchandra Paudel and Subaschndara Nembang were in the presidential race.
