
Kathmandu, 8 March: The Election Commission has said that all preparations for the presidential election have been completed. The Election Office established for the election of President in the Parliament Building in Baneshwar has completed all the preparations for voting from 10 am to 3 pm on Thursday.
According to Election Officer Mahesh Sharma Paudel, voting for the presidential election will be held on Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm.
Ramchandra Paudel from the Nepali Congress and Subashchandra Nemwang from UML are the presidential candidates. Members of the Federal Parliament and the Provincial Assemblies are voters for the presidential election.
The Election Commission has said that the voters cannot carry mobile phones and other devices prohibited by law in the booth. The Election Office has set up two polling stations, one for federal MPs and the other for state assembly members.
