Supreme Court summons PM Dahal

Kathmandu, 7 March: The Supreme Court today has summoned Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal to be present at the Court on Thursday, 9 March. 

A writ petition against PM Dahal has been registered at the Supreme Court today. Advocates Sekharraj Aaran and Kalyan Budhathoki have registered the petition against the PM claiming immediate arrest of him on the charge of killing people during the conflict era.

The Court has fixed presenting the case for 9 March.

Dahal had publicly claimed that he would take responsibility for killing five thousand people during the conflict era. 

The two advocates, based on Dahal’s claim, have asked the Court to forward the case on the murder charge of the murder case.
