Kathmandu, 6 March: After the Supreme Court registered a writ petition against Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal involving him being responsible for killing people during the conflict era, the ruling alliance has decided to modify laws related to transitional justice.
The meeting of the nine-party ruling alliance held on Sunday evening in Baluatar decided to modify the laws related to transitional justice following the order issued by the Supreme Court.
The participants expressed their commitment to conclude the remaining works of the comprehensive peace agreement.
They agreed for developing laws and constituting commissions to complete the remaining works related to transitional justice.
