Kathmandu, 2 March: Police have arrested three Indian nationals with gold and diamond ornaments worth Rs 11 million. They were arrested with 63.898 tola of gold and 22.878 tola of diamond ornaments. Police seized such huge quantity of gold and diamond ornaments that being brought to Kathmandu from Kolkatta by concealing in a vehicle.
According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, those arrested will be sent to Department of Revenue Investigation, along with the confiscated ornaments. Similarly, the Office held three persons with 33 bottles of banned cough syrup, Corex, from Khairahani municipality-6.
