Kathmandu, 28 February: Construction works has started from Sanga of Kavrepalanchok under the road expansion plan from Suryavinayak to Dhulikhel along the Araniko Highway. An agreement was reached to expand the road section of Suryavinayak-Sanga and Sanga-Dhulikhel in two separate phases to be completed in three years.
The work of both these road sections should be completed within 36 months of the contract agreement. The expansion of Suryavinayak-Dhulikhel road section to four lanes has started and in the first phase of the total 15.5 km road to be expanded, the contract for the 8.4 km road section is undertaken by Lama Constructions.
